As part of my Exhibition Design class, I produced the name of the show. As a college of Jewish women, I wanted to show that pride in the art and the name of the gallery show. I chose ATÈN: the feminine, plural word “you” in Hebrew.

A compelling logo is imperative to a successful event. The logo my team and I created showed the Hebrew word in graphic brushstrokes.
This created a formal and creative identity for the show. It was used for advertising, decor, and take-aways.

I incorporated this style by planning where the strokes would be placed while working on the scaling and elevations of the gallery. Being a painter, I hand-painted the strokes onto the walls and brought my vision to life.

It’s important to understand the mission and purpose of the show before absorbing the artwork. This gives the show a deeper meaning and helps the viewers have a more substational art experience.
